Book Review - Riding Redemption by Jolie Mason

Riding Redemption started a little slow for me, but I got so immersed in the story that I was surprised when I got to the end. That could also be due to the fact that it is only 43 pages long. I only paid 99 cents, so I was fine with that. That might turn some people off, though, so I mention it here. It has romance and Mech Warrior battles, so it made for a fun read. It was a good introduction to the series.

Book Review - Zero (Mech. Chronicles Book 1)

The beginning of the story was great. There was quite a bit of telling instead of showing, but I pushed through it. Everything seemed to be going great until they ran into the Cogmores. All of a sudden the main character just starts doing his own thing (even though the aliens still have his body orbiting some other planet). Plus someone will get pissed for a split second and then they'll be best buds another split second later. I hate to be harsh, but the author had a great thing going and then the writing, the plot, the characters just fell apart.

Book Review - The Martian Chronicles by Andy Weir

It's a great book that is similar to Castaway only its on Mars and without the volleyball. :)
