Riding Redemption started a little slow for me, but I got so immersed in the story that I was surprised when I got to the end. That could also be due to the fact that it is only 43 pages long. I only paid 99 cents, so I was fine with that. That might turn some people off, though, so I mention it here. It has romance and Mech Warrior battles, so it made for a fun read. It was a good introduction to the series.
All in all, it was a great read, so 5 out 5 stars. If you're interested, you can find out more about Riding Redemption by Jolie Mason on Amazon (one of our sponsors) ...
Book Review - Infestation by William Meikle
I don't usually like horror type stories, but this one grabbed my attention so I gave it a fair shot. The way this book started out felt very similar to Predator and I liked that. Each of the people on the team had their own quirks, feelings, etc. I also liked how the creatures involved seemed somewhat plausible. I liked how the special operations team valued each of its members. Even though they kept giving the odd-man out gruff for screwing up all the time, they'd still die for him if need be. Which reminds me.
